Go Lokal! launched at Ayala Center Cebu on October 11, 2018 with performances from Turtulele ambassadors: The Ukulele Princess of Cebu Diane Leigh, and #CebuBusker Dane Smith.
The launch was fully packed with suppliers, guests, mall goers, and curious tourists. The event was graced by Department of Trade and Industry’s Region 7 Director, Ms. Asteria C. Caberte, and key personalities who officially opened the Go Lokal! shop with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Various local products have been given away during the event through an Instagram contest and raffle. One lucky girl was able to take home a Sampaguita Turtulele.
Go Lokal!, a project of DTI, is a retail concept store showcasing quality and innovative Philippine products crafted, designed and produced by the country’ owns micro, small, and medium enterprises.
